My interest in bodywork begain in 1987 with a gift of a book from a dear friend from Juneau, Alaska. That book was the "Joy of Feeling" (Jin Shin Do BodyMind Acupressure) and it introduced me to acupressure. By 1991 I was seriously taking classes and by 1995 I became a Licensed Massage Practitioner, LMP. In 1994 I began expanding out into additional types of bodywork such as CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release from the Upledger Institute. Most recently I have been studying Visceral Manipulation and Lymph Drainage also from Upledger. I am recognized as a lead Teaching Assistant (TA) in CranioSacral Therapy for the Upledger Institute classes in the Anchorage area.
